Message	same weight when warmed up to operating conditions. The 75w just doesn't get as thick when it cools to room temperature; it stays closer to the proper operating viscosity. Like for motor oil weights, the FSM weight is pretty much obsolete, except people still buy it because that's what their 20 year old manual says...so oil companies still make it.
